This is such a beautiful picture. A tiny wooden house surrounded by nature. I’m sure you can hear the water flowing all the time. There’s even grass growing on the roof it looks like.
This picture was taken by Deborah Benbrook at the Skaftafell National Park in Iceland.
I enjoyed this quote by Anthony de Mello…
You’ve got to drop something. You’ve got to drop illusions. You don’t have to add anything in order to be happy; you’ve got to drop something. Life is easy, life is delightful. It’s only hard on your illusions, your ambitions, your greed, your cravings.Anthony de Mello
He explains how happiness is already within you. It’s really just a matter of analyzing the things that are making you unhappy… All of the things in your world that make you continue to want more.
Think twice about what you watch on the television everyday, how many times you read the news and pay attention to your self that’s always stressing you out. Shut that self down sometimes and enjoy what you already have.
- Nature around you
- Your home
- Family and friends
- Husband or wife
- A bicycle ride
- A walk
It’s all about appreciation. See you tomorrow!
